First Lithuanian full season entry for Prototype Cup Germany by Speed Factory Racing

Speed Factory Racing registers a Ligier JS P320 for the full 2022 season of the Prototype Cup Germany, making it the first Lithuanian entry in the new series.

Speed Factory Racing team was established in 2006 by Lithuanian rally driver Dalius Steponavicius. Located in Spain, Valencia, the team represents the Lithuanian ASN. With multiple championship wins in Radical European Masters from 2006 until 2014, the team earned a lot of experience in prototype racing and switched to Le Mans Series LMP3 category in 2015, where they finished third in the championship with a Ginetta LMP3. Between 2016-2019 the team ran a couple of Ligier LMP3 cars in ELMS, VdeV, Ultimate Cup, as well as Audi TCR in selected Creventic 24H Series races, and took third place in the 2021 European GT2 Championship with a Porsche GT2 RS CS.

Dalius is excited to compete with his team in the series: “I’m happy to announce our full season entry to the new German Prototype Championship. It is a very emotional feeling to return to German circuits after so long time. We will try to share our experience with drivers debuting in this category and help to open doors in to prototype racing world.”

The team plan to announce their driver lineup on a later notice. Keep an eye on our social media channels for future updates.
