Toksport WRT is making their prototype racing debut with their entry of a Ligier LMP3 driven by Berkay Besler and Marvin Dienst in the Prototype Cup Germany.
For over twenty years, Toksport WRT has been successful in many motorsport disciplines. The team has their roots in Rally racing and slowly but surely expended their competitiveness to rally cross, cross country series and finally circuit racing. Last year they entered with three AMG GT3 in ADAC GT Masters and GT World Challenge. They also compete with 8 (!) Skoda Fabia R5 Evo Cars in the World Rally Championship and European Rally Championship.
The Ligier JS P320 is the latest addition to their racing fleet and their entry in the Prototype Cup Germany marks their debut in prototype racing. Seyhun Duru, Toksport WRT Team Manager, is exited to compete in the series:

The driver pairing consist of Berkay Besler and Marvin Dienst. Besler started Karting in 2006 and after several races in GT4’s and Porsche Cup Cars the young Turkish driver is ready for the next step in circuit racing. The Prototype Cup Germany marks his debut in the LMP3. The young but experienced Marvin Dienst will complete the driver pairing. Marvin has over 150 starts in competitive racing, with highlights as the Formula 4, and GT3 entries in 24H Dubai and ADAC 24H Nürburgring.
